What is the “magnetic model updated for 2020”?
I assume it's what's described in the link below, due to the world's ever-changing magnetic field (to obtain the most accurate magnetic declination (aka variation)):

"Since Earth’s magnetic field is created by its moving, molten iron core, its poles aren’t stationary and they wander independently of each other. Since its first formal discovery in 1831, the north magnetic pole has traveled around 1,400 miles (2,250 km). This wandering has been generally quite slow, allowing scientists to keep track of its position fairly easily. Since the turn of the century, this speed has increased.

The WMM2020 forecasts that the northern magnetic pole will continue drifting toward Russia, although at a slowly decreasing speed—down to about 40 km per year compared to the average speed of 55 km over the past twenty years."

Im sure a lot of people already know this however I will share it with folks who might find themselves in the same situation...

"New revision will not load and causing red X"

I have two screens and I uploaded the new revision on the left screen and ***before*** I loaded the revision up to the right screen I saw that the ADAHRS and EMS had red "X'" and since I always worried about new computer revisions causing glitches... I automatically thought...Ohh crap the new revision caused trouble...so I tried to load the previous revision back in my left screen to fix it...still had the red "X"s.

I called tech support and Dave called back and fixed it...from what he said when loading a new revision on a multi screen system the red "X" will remain until the load is made on the other screen(s). He also said that my attempt to return to the previous revision was certainly going to fail because if you revise one screen up to a new revision you need to load that same revision on to the other screen(s) and then...and only then... if you want you can then return to the previous revision by loading it on both screens...

Also note the instructions on the Dynon software download page state "This file must be loaded onto each display individually."

That was the plan however when I loaded the revision into the first display and it showed red "X" I did not want to load it into the second display. I have done a number of these revisions before and I do not remember ever seeing the ADAHRS and the EMS show red "X". So perhaps the red X just occurs on some revisions...or most likely...I just never notied it before when I finished loading the first screen.

I also have 2 displays and have seen the red X's indicating Skyview network (SkyNet???) equipment not connected after updating my 1st with this and previous software updates. The X's have always gone away after upgrading the 2nd display.
