Skyview system frozen/locked up

Hello all,

I had my Skyview lock up in flight the other day after a short time in the air. No prior issues for the past 12 years of usage. Only thing I can note this time is I had just performed an update, and my backup battery was indicating it needed to run a test. After landing, turning off all power and pulling breakers wouldn't shut down the system, I had to go under my dash and disconnect the backup battery. I've attached a screen shot of what was on the screen after it froze. Has anyone had this issue or have any information? Any further information I need to provide to help diagnose?

Another note, it hasn't happened since.

i I had exactly the same issue a while back. I sent the diagnostic file into Dynon and they found it was a memory error. The solution was to reboot and it all comes back to life and has been working fine since. The longer term fix is to send it in for memory replacement I believe. Apparently this has been happening a bit recently with the older classic screens.
