SL30 and Garmin 296/496

Hi
I am installing Dynon 100 and 120 with a Garmin SL30 and a 296 GPS.
You have advised me already to connect the SL30 to the 100 and the GPS to
the 120. Now that DSAB is fully working should I connect both to the D100.
One other thing I hope to switch between a 296 and a 496 will this
just work as is or will I have to do anything to tell the unit which gps
is attached

The D100 and D120 each only have one serial port. So you have to connect one to the D100 and one to the D120. With DSAB it doesn't technically matter which goes to which.

You shouldn't have any problems switching from a 296 to a 496 as long as you make sure the serial speed is set to "normal" in the advanced serial setup in the Garmin.
