SL30 to D100

My SL30 is not communicating to my D100 . I have it connected to Serial Port 2 on the HS34. HSI does not seem to recognize it on Nav2. Any suggestions?

Did you set the SkyView's serial port input to SL-30, the function to NAV X, and the baud rate to 9600. That's under LOCAL SCREEN SETUP > SERIAL PORT SETUP.

Also, on the SL-30, make sure you have indicator head type set to none, not serial. Counter-intuitive, but that's the way it needs to be.
