In the very near future I will be adding an SL30 to my panel, as well as a Dynon D10a. Can I connect the SL30 to my Skyview and the D10a? if not then I will just get the D6. thanks,

Do you mean so you can use it as an HSI? You can connect it to a SkyView and a D10A at the same time, but you'll only have one OBS, so the D10A will just follow whatever is on SkyView.

yes..I thinking if I connected the sl30 to both the SV and 10A then I would have an additional backup in the event I lost the SV or 10a. sounds like that won't be the case, so I will plan on the D6 then as my back up.

It would still be a backup. You have an OBS knob on the SL-30, so you would need to use this to set the OBS and both SkyView or the D10A would show it, even if one failed. You just can't set the OBS from SkyView or the D10A since they would collide with one another.
