2- 7” Dynon Classic, one ADAHRS, GPS 2020, EMS220, 3 Axis Autopilot, SV-XPNDR-261, SV-ADSB-472, SkyView VHF COM, SVARINC-429, Avidyne IFD-440

Something strange is happening within my System. For some reason the VSR box on the map no longer populates, additionally, today the COM radio has now once gone off the network and I was not able to push frequencies to it. I also got a ADSB error message in flight, but the ADSB was receiving, but I was not able to get airport INFO using the flight plan menu. There are some other goofy things that I think have been wonky but I have not been flying regularly so I have been writing them off as me being “rusty with the technology”, but now it is blatantly apparent the system has some sort of a bug eating away at its formerly smooth operation.

I believe I had two bad boot ups that may be the root of the issue. During these boot ups, the Left screen, which I think is my “master” booted to the display and then went black, an error (sorry this is by memory here and not exact verbatim details) somewhere along the lines of “network manager failure” mixed in with some other text displayed. But the screen immediately rebooted and then appeared to work fine. This has happened twice in the last few months, however the missing VSR and COMM, and ADSB on network issues are more recent.

I’m sorry that my description is not more specific, I will pay more detailed attention to the issues so I can better describe them, but the system has worked perfectly for a few years now so it is strange that it is starting to bug out.

What is the best approach here? I am thinking I need to reload all the software and seeing if that fixes things.

I would take a look at the network status page and see if any errors are attached to a device. If so, I’d detach that device and check the network cables associated with that device.

Next step is a call to Dynon.

Network Status Page shows no errors. I forced reload of all network devices as part of my "reloading the software" exercise, unfortunately too overcast to fly today, will report back when I can test things out.
