After applying pressure to the pitot line of D100 to obtain Air Speed of 130 Knots. The speed decreases of 5 knots every 10 to 15 seconds. A test done on the air speed WINTER with the same pitot line always gives a result with the good indication after 30 minutes. The test of the D100 is it normal? or do you think that there’s a leak internally of D100. The flight indicate of the D100 is less than 10 to 15 Knots from that of the GPS with no wind and the D100 displays a wind of 10-15 knots, and despite the correct calibration of the compass it disrupts after one hour of flight. Do you have an idea? Thank you for your answer.

I'm not sure I understand what reading you're losing after an hour or so of flight. Is it the heading reading?

As for the leak: the D100 should not leak at all, although a leak that small would not cause any perceptible IAS inaccuracy. One thing though - units that come back with supposed leaks often hold pressure just find at the factory when tested, which means that it's the Dynon to instrument interface that often has the leak. So start by checking that connection.

If you're fairly certain it's the instrument, we can take a look at it for you. Just get in touch with tech support at 425-402-0433 or support at dynonavionics dot com.

It's the heading reading which is false after 1 hour of flight. Thank you
