standard Temperature parameter values for 912 ULS?

Are there standard Temperature parameter values for 912 ULS?  I bought my plane with 64 TTSN, and wonder if the D180 values are set correctly.  The CHTs are always on the low side; I taped over the rad, which made a useful improvement.

But I still get low CHT warnings, which happened so frequently that I missed a low voltage warning, losing all glass and NAVCOMs.  So I guess time to reset those parameters.  Would anyone here have some proven useful low values?  Only the higher values appear inthe Rotax paperwork.

TIA John

Re: standard Temperature parameter values for 912

John,
Check if you Have set the engine type as Rotax in the GLOBAL PARAMETER SETUP.
If yes you should have the correct temp value.
If the red warning is coming too often because of the low CHT you get with your engine, may be lowering or removing the bottom red value will help you.
To do that go in the sensor page and change the the value in the CHT page.

BTW with the Rotax the CHT is normaly between 75° and 110° Celsius in flight that is the green range. If you make some long idle descent, then the CHT can become really lower than the specified value given by Rotax.
The T° given By Rotax are: Red zone above 135° C,
High yellow zone between 110 an 135° C, Green zone between 75 and 110° C, Low yellow Zone below 75° C.
They don't show up a red low zone for the CHT. If you have one, remove it.

Francis.
