Planning an SV installation (with backup battery). The aircraft ignition switch functions as master on then (spring) starter. If engine does not start, it is necessary to turn the switch back to off position, then on again, before spring starter will engage. In this event, will SV reboot?

With a backup battery, I don't expect it would. But why would you design your system that way in the first place?

You can start SkyView ON the SV-BAT-320 backup battery by pushing and holding Button 1 to power it on. As soon as aircraft power is applied, SkyView will power itself from that and, with enough current and voltage available (generator / alternator online, making power) SkyView will (re)charge the SV-BAT-320.

If you start SkyView on aircraft power, and aircraft power is lost AFTER it is booted up, and you're not in flight, SkyView will put up a banner saying "Shutting down in 30 seconds". If you don't push the button marked STAY ON, SkyView will power down. If you push STAY ON, SkyView will power itself from the SV-BAT-320.
