Static air pressure test

Am trying to test my pitot static air system in test mode. I get a response to airspeed through the pitot but when I draw a vacuum (or add pressure) to the static system, I get altitude changes but there is no response on the VSI indicator. I pulled the adahrs network plug at the adahrs End and verified that all pins were set in place. What wire is the data for the VSI output?

All of the data from the ADAHRS travels in the SkyView network. The VSI does not work in test mode as it isn't part of the pitot/static test procedure.

Lol!! Yeah we figured it out. Too many eyes looking at too many different things at the same time. Thanks Don.

Continuing with the static system test today and still showing a leak somewhere. The question I have, is it possible to get the altimeter out of calibration? When we started the test (in test mode), the altimeter was reading close to airfield altitude. We would pull a vacuum with a syringe to increase displayed altitude 1000 above field for pressure holding test. After several tries we called it a day but noticed the altimeter was now reading 300’ lower than when we started with everything disconnected.

It shouldn't cause a problem with the altimeter cal as long as it is in test mode. Did the baro change, like a cold front coming through?

Yeah, I didn’t have time yesterday to go back in to set the barometer in normal mode and there was a front going through. It just seemed to happen so quickly, a couple of cycle with the syringe, 10 minutes at most. I was concerned that we may have pulled too strong a vacuum at one point while playing with a sticky syringe. Update tomorrow.
