Say there, where is the best location for the static source?

Are two static ports the ticket?

Any pearls of wisdom on this one?

CJ,
On most airplanes you need two static ports on the side of the body in order to compenstate if you have any sideslip. If you have a static port on the pitot probe, then the designers of the probe have probably designed this in.

Van's suggested location for the static ports is the location we reccomend. Static locations require a lot of flight testing to find a place that location that doesn't have a lot of dynamic pressure changes.

Cool, Thanks!

I will be ordering the AOA pitot soon and fitting it with the Safeair1 mount and plumbing kits.

When I have pics and feedback, I will forward it.
