Static/ pitot hook ups to EFIS

I have the EFIS and the EMS...identical units. Both have connections for AOA, static and pitot. Should I connect to both units?

Only if you still want to be able to read airspeed and altitude in the event one of the units fails.

You decide...

Yes, the more I thought about it, the more I believe you are correct!
Have to order some more connectors!

EMSes don't have Pitot/Static connections, but I suspect you actually are talking about a FlightDEK-D180 (combination EFIS/EMS). In this case, you need pitot/static connections connected to both. Remember, the whole value of having this configuration is the redundancy you gain in your flight instruments.
