i am in the process of installing my Dynon autopilot, for the 10 A and I was wondering if I need a separate static tubing, I do have some back up steam gauges which are connected to the same tubing the dynon 10 A is connected to My friend who ownes a Glasair with a different autopilot had to split the Static Tubing System, because his plane wend like a Jojo after the installation.
Your advice is much appreciated

Normally you don't need a separate static connection, just tee into what you have.  However not all static systems are equal ie there can be variances in the system whether they be builder induced or be a product of the aircraft design.

A simple check, and this applies to all Alt Hold systems, is to fly it first with static connected and then unconnected - if the performance is better unconnected then the static system needs work.

You can just tee them off - no need to do anything special. Avoid introducing any static lag by making sure you don't add any restrictions to the static lines.
