Step Down and up dates

First I'd like to thank DBRV10; the step down work as you said it would.
My next question is updating data. I am currently using the Seattle Avionics data for sectional map. the down load and up load to the airplane is straight forward; but to down load data from Dynon on to the flash drive it appears to double the data instead of up dating what needs to be up dated. what I've been doing with the Dynon data is erasing the existing data on the flash drive and down loading fresh each time there is an up date whereas the Seattle Avionics just updates what's new.
so what is the scoop?

I think that's pretty much what everybody does. What were you expecting?

What I was expecting on the download was for it to just update the data or write over it, not to just double up with another file! Seattle Avionics for Dynon just updates what is new. So what everybody knows is that I have to delete what is on the flash drive each month before I download the updated data!! thanks so much for your help

Doesn't seem too onerous to me...a couple of mouse clicks is all it takes to delete the expired data file.

I guess if you have to find something to complain about, though...
