Stripping brown egt/cht wires

I use a pair of Ideal wire strippers, and then clean up the residue left on the conductor with a scrap of emery paper.
I'm surprised that I can't find this in the archives but what's the best way to strip the brown wires that connect to the EGT and CHT probes? Thanks.

The wire stripper cuts through the (non-round) insulation down to the conductor, which is round.
How does the wire stripper work when the cross section of the cable isn't round ? I guess I'll try one and see.
