Suggestion: Covers for the screens

I have a Garmin 495 and when not in use I put the Garmin cover on to protect the screen. When working on our aircraft, in my case a RV7, doing any work including annual checks etc it would be an advantage to be able to have covers to protect the screens when not in use.

How would you design a cover to attach to SkyView? There's nothing to attach to, it's flush with the panel with only a 1/16" lip.

The 2 ways that quickly come to mind...

1. To have clips that go behind the top 2 corners of the screen on the cover.
2. 2 or 4 little pieces of velcro on the lip to put the covers.

(a) If the covers fitted snugly to the unit including the josticks it should hold covers in place. (b) The top 2 retaining screws could have a press stud type or similar catch or (c) Could be a micture of (a) secured by a camloc type 1/4 turn fastener onto the panel.
