I applied power to my SV prior to engine start as usual using a ships B/U battery I have installed. I got the normal boot screen and as the items were scrolling it hung up at the RTIO line and then a message line appeared that said "Could not initialize RITO USB port, Restarting. It would restart to this line over and over and would not go any further. I finally turned ships B/U power off and now the SV boot screen appeared and the system completed startup and I got my normal screen. It had booted up using the internal SV B/U battery. I checked the SV battery status and it indicated 10.9 volts and "Discharging" I exited back to my normal screen and selected Ships main battery power on.
I immediately got a flashing RED X and ADHARS FAIL message and a Power down in 30 seconds message. I toggled buttons 7 & 8 and checked Battery status and it indicated B/U battery Discharging. When I exited the status page back to my normal page it reset the shut down timer back to 30 sec's to shutdown. Turning ships power off returned it to normal display and running on SV B/U battery.
It appears it will boot on the Internal SV B/U battery but will not get past the RITO USB stage in normal or B/U ship's power. Ship's power was indicating 12.8 volts.
I had flown two days prior and all seemed normal except I did notice some slight brightness flickering during the bootup that it had not done before but it operated normally on a 1 hour flight.
Any ideas where to start. Let me know if I need to call. Doesn't appear to be anything easy to fix.
