SV 3.0 Undocumented features (bugs) or questions

So, I upgraded all three SV screens independently and powered up individually. Loaded, really low res data, new OB/AV data, new sensor data, and then the 3.0 update. Couple of things I found before and during flight.

1. G-Meter: Wwhen configuring G meter in 2nd and 3rd screen, it didn't come up with config from first screen. Rebooted, still default. Then went in to configure and the data from first screen was there. Went back to PFD and it was correct. Seems it didnt' "read" until I went in to configure.
2. G-Meter: Was fine for level turns and for most basic maneouvers. However in Standard loop, it got "Radical" during first 1/4 and last 1/4 of the loop. Moving around showing rapid changes from +6.5 to -6.5 during those sections. Now, I was pulling my normal 3 to 3.5G during those times and while I might be a little off, there is no way it was NEG 6.5.
3. G-Meter: Was set to "pop-up" at 4G. Did 4.2 G level turn and it didn't pop up (Was checked after and the meter showed 4.2). Did 4.3 non level turn and it didn't pop up.
4. Map Data: Accepted trail period. However map data only shows in 1st and 3rd screens. 2nd screen has trial period (29 hours left) in the configuration window but doesn't show av data. Rebooting and reloading didn't change problem.
5. Fuel Guage: Left level went to zero during flight (with 20+ Gal in tank). upon landing and then turnning off runway, it returned to normal. Will watch, but it was stable in 2.6.

Thoughts?

BTW, like the new HSI and the G meter representations as well as the map data. Looking forward to multi-leg inputs soon.

Re: SV 3.0 Undocumented features (bugs) or questio

1) The way it should work is that after you configure any setting from any display (anything that's not under the "local display setup" menu, anyway), it should propagate to the other displays once you leave the menu. In some cases you may need to reboot too see things that show up on the display reload, but I don't think that's true of the g-meter. I'm wondering if some of your issues might have to do with the 3rd screen. Most of our test scenarios focus on dual screen configurations, so it's possible you're seeing subdle bugs that only manifest themselves on three screens.
2) There's an issue here that we're aware of. 3.1 (no date yet) should have a fix for that.
3) May be related to the above - not sure though.
4) Under the installed databases menu on that screen, is the avdata showing up?
5) Other screens are OK?

In any case, you might give us a call to get into it with tech support . They'll be a better resource than the forum, especially this week, as a bunch of us are at Sun n Fun.

Re: SV 3.0 Undocumented features (bugs) or questio

1-3) Ok, let me know if you have a beta version of 3.1 to test the G meter if you want. Every flight I'm doing 3+ G. :)
4) All 3 screens had the same AV data. After reloading all software updates on the 2nd screen the map is now correct and showing data.
5) All 3 screens showed the same Zero level when it occured. It has not occured again.
