SV-COM-760 without SV-INTERCOM-2S…?

I’m installing a SV-COM-760 and a SV-COM-PANEL in my 2 seat homebuilt project (a Zenith 750).

Question: Do I need an SV-INTERCOM-2S in order to talk to my passenger…?

I’ve been looking at the documentation and I’m confused in this area (the documentation mainly focuses on the T8/T25 plus the intercom). Is there a wiring diagram specifically for the SV-COM-760…?

Thanks,

Unless you plan to yell very loudly, you need an intercom to speak with your passenger. It doesn't have to be the SV-INTERCOM-2S though. You can use a different type if you want, even a portable one.

If limited to only one, I would personally install an SV-INTERCOM-2S rather than an SV-COM-PANEL. You don't actually 'need' an SV-COM-PANEL, but you need an intercom. You also won't hear audio alerts from the Skyview without an intercom or an audio panel, unless you craft a custom mixer.

Wiring diagrams for the 760 are in the SV-INTERCOM-2S Installation Guide and Skyview Installation Guide. The pinouts are the same as for the T25/T8, so you don't need a separate diagram.
