SV-D700 System Cable

The D37 system cable shows four contact inputs. Maybe just me but I could find no referance to these contact in install manual except under the EMS section, which would seem to be different wires. Are these useable for say "gear down", "gear up", etc. and if so how do you set up the info on the display. Also my firmware is version 5.1, is it advisable to upgrde to 7.1.

The D37 display connector contact inputs aren't programmable, but one of them can be used for an external AP Level button if you'd like to have one. See the AP installation section for more details on that wiring. More generally, they're reserved for future use.
