SV installation manual ver 11 question

On page X1 of revision history the second listing from the bottom it states "MAP button no longer available (Page 21-11)"
There is no page 21-11. Should there be a page for this??? :-/

MAP Button Is No Longer Available
SkyView displays are shipped with a 30 Flight Hour trial of the SkyView Map. After 30 Flight Hours have elapsed (the trial has expired), the next time SkyView is powered up, the MAP button will not appear. If you wish to continue using SkyView’s Map functions, see SV-MAP-270 Navigation Mapping Software Purchase and Setup.

Yeah, looks like there are a couple of cross-referencing issues there. I believe what reidvaitor quoted is what it should be pointed to.

VAC Charts (visiual approach charts)

we have newly a skview with Jeppeson database installed. When I fly from A to B, the VAC Chart at destination does not show up. Can somebody help?

Engine values alert

Hi
I am wondering whether an alert would pop up when a engine parameter is going in the "red"?
I imaging a situation where I have navigation in the screen only (engine parameters not shown)...

Yes, but only if it set to trigger an alarm. See page 7-63 of the Installation Manual.

Hi Jacques: The Jeppesen NavData subscription contains the digital data like airports, airspace, obstacles, and other aviation features that you see on SkyView's map. However, it doesn't not contain any VAP or other digital representations of "paper" charts. PocketFMS does supply VAPs for some areas in Europe. See this page for some very basic information, and contact PocketFMS directly to determine whether the areas you're interested in have the types of charts you would need. I should mention that PocketFMS also does offer digital data similar to what you're currently getting via Jeppessen.

When you have engine alerts turned on (this is configurable per engine parameter), you get a red warning in the alert area, an audible alert (if you have audio output connected to your intercom and/or audio panel), and you can even wire an output from SkyView to a panel-mounted warning light that you provide.
