I see in an archived thread a request for pinouts of the SV-MAG-236 and a staff response that they are not published because they are connected through network cables.

I need the pinouts.

I am upgrading and have a severe challenge running new wire to the 236. I have two twisted pair running already and want to use them if I can. To do that, I need to know the pinouts.

If the SV-MAG-236 USES more than two twisted pair I have a problem, but if it only uses two twisted pair or fewer, I should be able to use the existing cable so long as I know the pinouts so I can terminate it correctly to connect to the network hub.

It uses the SV Network cable which has two pairs plus 2x power and ground. The pin that it issued for the EMS is not required.

Read the manual and you can see which is which. If it is that much of a problem find another location.

The question is moot. I was able to pull a network cable.
I was hoping to learn a little than that pairs 1 (pins 1 and 6) and 2 (pins 4 and 8) were signal pairs; I'd known that from reading the manual Revistion AF pages 23-2 to 23-4. I'd called Dynon twice and they were either unwilling or unable to tell me the pinouts further than that. It's interesting because the pinouts for nearly every other Dynon Skyview device is given in Appendix C. Anyway, the subject is dead.
