Dear Dynon

I recently changed my TACH CRUISE RPM setting and once I landed and recorded my TACH time in my paper log I noticed the TACH TIME was incorrect, at a old setting. My question is: when entering the engine settings page is the CURRENT TACH TIME pre-loaded into the setting or is it the old / previous value still in there?

I am trying to figure out why my TACH TIME changed.

Thanks,

Kurt

The data stored as TACH TIME is actually the total revolutions, which is then shown divided by the CRUISE RPM. So when you change the CRUISE RPM, the displayed TACH TIME will change its value. If you think the historical TACH TIME is wrong using the new value of CRUISE RPM, you can change it in the same setup menu. (However, it seems more likely that the newly displayed TACH TIME would be more accurate since your newly entered CRUISE RPM was probably the correct CRUISE RPM in the past as well. By correcting your CRUISE RPM your historical TACH TIME should be more accurate.)
