SV with D10a backup monitoring EMS

I'm installing a SV with EMS and A/P. Does or is there a way to monitor SV ems on the D10a in normal SV operation?   :

Normal inflight operation would be SV w/nav and the D10a monitoring the ems. Is so, any special requirements??

SkyView and the older D10/D100 units cannot communicate with one another.
