Will the 1030-1090 MHZ antenna work well with the SV-XPNDR-261? I will also be adding ADS-B UAT and currently I'm planning on using the UAT 978 MHZ. Are there any mounting distance requirements from the pilot or passengers? Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary

A transponder antenna will work for both the ADS-B and the transponder. You have to have one antenna for each though, and they need to be at least 2' apart from each other on the aircraft. The antennas are ideally on the belly of the aircraft, so they won't be right up against occupants.
