I recently swapped out D-10A units. Mine for one Dynon provided. When I plugged in the new unit I no longer have GPS info from my 496. It displays awaiting GPS fix on the HSI page. I did reconfigure it as well as check the input settings per the installation guide.
What would have changed between units? How can I get it back? Looks like the firmware is 5.5.0 on the D-10A that was returned to me.

Hmm. Do you also have an HS34 in the aircraft by chance? If so, they'll need to be reconfigured via DSAB (you may need to update your HS34 first, depending on what version it was on).

You might also check whether the data rate setting in the advanced NMEA setup menu of the 496 is set to "normal" (correct) or "fast" (incorrect). This wouldn't likely be it though given that it worked previously.
