T-60 Red Cube fuel flowmeter installation

I am installing an FT-60 Red Cube flowmeter on my rV6 with an O-320 engine & PS680 odyssey battery fwd of the firewall.  There isnt a lot of space due to the eng mount tubes & I would be grateful for any adice others can give who have been down this road.

I usually mount them between the fuel pump & carby with the outlet side above level & wires at the top.
