I have dual P-mags along with the SkyView system. At the moment, I have connected pin 32 on the SkyView to pin 6 on the left P-mag. I have two questions:

1. Should I be using pins 32/33 or the low voltage pins 34/35 with my P-mags?

2. Do I need both a left and right tach reading? Forgive me if I am naive here, but shouldnt they be reading the same? Does SkyView average the two? Can I use just one side and if I do, what are the repercusions of doing so?

Thanks,

I have the P-Mags and hooked up both but you don't need to. They supply a continuous pulse even during mag checks so connecting to either is OK. P-Mags supply a 12V pulse made for EFIS's. You don't need the resistors and use pins 32/33 on the Skyview.
