Tachometer Connection on D-180

On the D-180 the instructions say you can connect the tachometer wires from the wiring harness directly into the p-leads using the supplied resistors. Does it matter where in the line the leads are connected? i.e. can you connet at the point where the p-leads are connected to the ignition switch, or does it have to be connected at the magneto end :question?

Doesn't matter. A lot of people use the switch because it's already near the EMS. Just remember that you want the resistor attached as close to your pick-off spot as possible. All the wire on the EMS-side of it is isolated so that grounding it will not ground out the mag.
