Does anyone have the source document for what the standard height above settings are for when terrain should go from green to yellow to red? Clearly we can set whatever we want, but it would probably be wise to standardize it with the rest of the “world/FAA”.

Thanks

There is no standard for red alert height. Red is zero. You can't change that. There can't be a standard for green to yellow because it depends on your aircraft performance and flight profile, and could change even then due to environmental conditions. Obviously an aircraft traveling at 500 knots would need different warnings than an aircraft traveling at 100 knots. Then there's vertical descent capability, dive speed, aerobatics, mountain waves, etc., etc. The permutations are nearly endless. That’s why the user sets the heights for their unique circumstances, including sometimes from flight to flight.
