The installation manual for the D180 states "thermocouple wires can be cut to a desired length if your application requires". I understand that the brown wires coming from the 25 pin plug can be cut to the desired length BUT: is it also OK to cut the steel covered wires coming from the CHT and EGT sensors themselves?
