Time

For those of us that have a GPS connected to the EMS, what is the possibility of getting the time via the GPS interface?? It would avoid needing to wire the keep-alive - or is there another purpose for the keep-alive?

If you have a GPS that provides time, and are running the latest Dynon firmware, we already do this. Most GPS units do, but some of the expensive Garmins like the 430's do not.

As you mention, the keep alive's only purpose is keeping time.

Yes, it comes from the Garmin handhelds no problem.
