During cold weather operations (below °C) I typically fly with wool fingerless gloves in the cockpit. They allow me to easily work with the SKyview HDX touch screens, panels, knobs and buttons. However, fingerless gloves are not ideal for outside ops such as fueling aircraft, etc. particularly when it is bone chilling cold.
I would like to get a light weight pair of touch screen gloves for flying. Some which require you to adjust the sensitivity of your touch screen. I've looked at several touch screen gloves and found the reviews to be mixed when using on an iOS or Android device.
What has been your experience flying with touch screen gloves? Have you found a pair that you like? Do they degrade over time? Did you find a pair that you didn't like?
