Touch screen not working

I've noticed recently that my 10" HDX has been difficult to activate anything by touch. Sometimes it will, sometimes it will not. Other times, for example, I can open the Comm screen, but I cannot enter a frequency using the touch. When I try to close the Comm box, I select the "x" and the box doesn't close out. The "x" goes gray for a bit, but the screen does not close.

Last evening, I tried to perform the touch sensitivity test (I think that is what it is called). I could not drag the green dot down to the red dot not matter how many times I tried.

Don't know if this matters, but my backup battery is fully discharged at the moment. I haven't flown enough to get it recharged. Not sure if this affects the touch or not...

You need to contact Dynon. We have just had to send two screens back for repair with exactly those symptom.

Inter3sting that i have the same issue with a new system - less than 25 hours. Backup battery gives message its low, tach is going in and out and the touch screen is intermittent. I pulled backup battery out and it shows well over 12 volts… rotax 914
