Touch the squelch and audio panel shuts off?

I recently purchased a Zenith with a Dynon Skyview touch. If I turn the squelch either on the intercom panel or radio panel, the radio will shut off and I will see "COM RADIO PANL OFFLINE" and red x in upper right corner. Is something wrong?
