Can any of you share the wisdom with me...

I am already getting traffic targets from SV-261 mode-S transponder, if I add an ADS-B to the system, which target would be shown on my skyview?

The ADSB will show all traffic that ATC see's plus the weather. A very worthwhile investment. You will not regret installing it in your aircraft. ;)

So the TIS from the 261 only gets you traffic in TIS coverage zones near major airports, while adding the ADS-B box gets you traffic everywhere that there's an ADS-B ground station installed. And because you have the ADS-B Out and In sides in SkyView, you'll get all the traffic that the FAA knows about, inluding Mode C targets that are under surveilance.

What exactly does Mode C targets that are under surveilance mean in relation to displaying the traffic? Also I had a drone pass by approxiamately below and it never showed up on any of my traffic systems.

To clarify - you get Mode C targets when they're being painted by radar, and an FAA radar station somewhere (center, enroute, approach, etc) is picking the aircraft up. Then it gets beamed to you via ADS-B. Basically, when you have ADS-B in and out, you see what the FAA sees.

Is there a way of identifying which system (ADSB Module vs SV-261) received a particular target?

Traffic data from different sources isn't fused. So if it says ADS-B in the lower-right hand corner, that's where it's from. Else, it's TIS from the transponder.

I flew with Dynon TIS for a year then installed the ADS-B when it shipped.

Yep, its a grand but it will be the best grand you ever spent. The increase in awareness is not to be believed. This assumes you are in a place with airports and traffic. If you are in the middle of nowhere with zero radar coverage then traffic is probably not very important for you.
