Transponder input accessibility

I am new to using the SkyView transponder but it would be nice that as you enter the code a larger number is displayed above the button to help validate you hit the right button.  Once the code is entered this larger code numbers stays on for a second or so.  This is similar to the way the cell phone keyboard works. The code display at the top of the screen is fine once the code is entered but I find it difficult to look at the buttons and the upper display at the same time.
