There was an old thread on this topic last entry was in 2016. Can any confirm the final outcome? Was it resolved using the RG400 cable?
I can say that the inference is not specific to the Dynon transponder. It happens with other brands - I have a Trig tt21. It is due to transmission power (in my case 120 watts) reflecting off other metal parts and back into the fiberglass hull and being picked up by the intercom cable or splitter box. The tick is the data transmision (several times a second)
I would appreciate any comment from those that have found the solution.
