Greetings everyone,

This is a new install, going through the setup and configuration process and cannot seem to have my transponder module available to setup. My question is, am I missing something on the setup screen or do we have some wiring / ping / harness issue to troubleshot ?

Please notice how on my screen it is showing, However, all light gray and you cannot move the cursor down to it. It jumps from Map Setup to Com radio setup.

Thank you all!

Page 11-15 of the Installation Manual:

Before the TRANSPONDER SETUP menu can be accessed, the SV-XPNDR-261/262 needs to be set up as a serial device in the SkyView system. To accomplish this:

• SETUP MENU > SYSTEM SETUP > SERIAL PORT SETUP

Thanks a lot! I got it to be located in a serial port, but still showing offline. I need to read the documentation again unless you all can see anything else I may have missed. I am trying to determined if it’s a configuration step issue that I have not completed or we need to pull the screen back out and start looking at cables and connections…😒

My initial network components search process doesn’t even list the transponder module.

Serial devices do not show up in a network search. Does it work in the system setup menu now that you have it set up on a serial port, or is it still grayed out?

For US aircraft, the system automatically sets the hex code when the tail number is entered. But Cap_Ax is in New Zealand, so he has to manually enter it.

and .... don't enter ZK- just enter the rest of the rego. Your 'Hex' code was probably supplied with the original registration paperwork.
