Transponder to AP servo distance

Are there any EMI/EMC issues with the locating of the new transponder near an autopilot servo. I am building an RV-8 and plan on locating the transponder under the aft baggage shelf (where the aft battery would go) which places it (and the antenna) very close to the autopilot pitch servo. Could not find any warnings in the installation manual. Any ideas about min distance. I dont want any interference between the two.

There are no additional distance restrictions if you follow all of the recommendations in the installation guide, particularly for the best wiring practices. You should be fine.
