I am in the early stages of schooling myself on how to wire the 37 pin Dynon to convey the aileron/elevator/flap position of the EMS.

Basically I will have a coolie hat for elevator trim/aileron trim and panel switch for the flaps.
In a previous post on this forum the aileron/elevator wiring was explained with clarity. But now add auto elevator trim through the the Trio Altitude Hold. What wiring changes if any are need to show this on the EMS monitor???

Frank Stringham @ SGU RV7A Panel and Wiring are underway....waiting on my Dynon Stuff!!!!!!Boy are they popular or what?

Hi Frank,

It looks like the auto-trim feature simply works with your existing trim motor, and the Trio only supplies the actuation commands. So, it doesn't look like would change things as they pertain to connecting to your Dynon product as a trim indicator. If your trim motor has an output for an indicator (like the Ray Allen indicators previously discussed), you'd hook them up to us the same as you would if you didn't have the Trio autopilot w/auto-trim installed.
