Hello erverybody,

i installed a Garrecht TRX 1500 2 days ago to provide traffic information (FLARM + ADS-B) to my Skyview System. Everything worked after the first try, however on the first flight i found the displayed altitudes of the targets somehow wrong. The targets where mainly Airliners with ADS-B out, the position was correct, but it showed airliners at cruise altitude >FL 250 at altitudes of just FL 80. Similar with planes below. Flying at FL65 i got some traffic displayed with [-85], which would mean its underground.  :-?

Has somebody experienced a similar problem? Might be just a simple setting on trx 1500 or the skyview. For me it looks like a feet<->meter or a relative<->absolute altitude conversion problem.

The TRX 1500 is set for TIS output.

Thx and greets,
yesombre

I can't say we've heard of such reports. Can you take some screenshots (buttons 2/7 with a USB stick connected) or pictures of what you're seeing? What version of SkyView software are you running? Also, are you running the latest TRX software.

Thx for the reply. I will look out, if the issue persist and if so will make a screenshot. May be it was only a misinterpretation on my side.

TRX software is current and Skyview is 12.0. Will updated it to the current version, maybe that fixes it.
