Hi, I just installed the Skyview in my Turbine Impulse called Pocket Rocket. Pitch and Rollservo with no play. Flying it manually requires small stickmovements especially in pitch and when above 200 KTS.
On the first flight with default settings I engaged the AP acc to the manual in Simple mode at 160 KTS and the Airplane rolled and pitched up after 3-5 sec. Since the plane requires small control movements, would you recommend to start with pitch and roll sensitivities near the lower end?
Thanks for any advice
Tom

Our recommendation is always to use the Autopilot In-Flight Tuning guide, which you can download from http://docs.dynonavionics.com. Beyond that, your description does not sound like a sensitivity / gain issue, but something more fundamental with the setup or configuration. When you experienced your AP behavior, were you getting any SLIP or other annunciations?

Of course I used the guide mentioned. but it says after pressing the ALT TRK Button let it fly for a couple of min and then... It will only fly for 3 seconds.

I ll go through the servo cal again and fly again tomorrow with default settings.
Will keep you posted.#

Recalibrated the Skyview and Servos. Flew with very good results. Needs a bit finetuning in pitch axis.

What I noticed in calm air with the plane stedy, that the Synthetic vision has pitch changes without the AC oitching. The Turbine has no vibrations and the AAHRS is fixed and can not move.
Any suggestions? :)

Is airspeed experiencing any noticable changes when this happens? This could be caused by turbulent flow over pitot or static ports, or possibly moisture in the system. Other than that, a video or diagnostic log sent directly to our support team at support at dynonavionics dot com can help us see what you're seeing.

Did another testflight today. Airspeed fluctuates up to 5 kts and I believe it is connected to vibration of the long pitot tube , which is mounted behind the rear spar. Flucuation is immediatly resulting in pitch indication, without aircraft changing pitch. Flictuation is randome.
Pitot tube is now attached with a brace strut to the leading edge, but it is too turbulent air to fly again. Will post results.
Thanks for the excelent support :)

Stabilized the long pitot tube that is mounted behind the wet wings section with a small brace strut. Fluctuations gone, Skyview pitch indicating normal. Ap still in tuning progress. :D
