Turn anticipation

One of the new features of release 3.1 is described as "SkyView can be set up to provide turn anticipation between flight plan legs." Will the autopilot follow these turns without having an external device, such as the Garmin 430, to provide GPS Steering commands?

If you are using the map and flight planning from inside SkyView, yes, the AP will follow these anticipated turns without a 430 or external device.

If you are flying the AP from an external device such as a 696, then no, the turn anticipation will not happen.
