Twisted Pair

I understand the 2 DSAB circuits need to be twisted pair. I have already installed the 7x servo wires in my wing which has the whole bundle twisted. Is this OK? Please don't tell me I have to pull it out, seperate it, twist the appropriate wires and somehow try to thread it back!

I assume your network cables are D9 with a 9 wire bundle and the unfinished ones come with pins and shell to complete. The splitter is simply a 1-to-2 D9? And you don't need splitters at the main screens because of the 2 D9 inputs?

It's not ideal, but you'll probably be OK. If you have any issues with your servos communicating with the screens, you'll want to revisit the wiring.

The SkyView Network cables are basically 9 pin cables, with the two redundant network pairs twisted in pairs. The splitters are as you describe. They're most likely to be used out by a device (to split a cable to 2 ADAHRS modules, for example.

I have also pre-run my 7x servo wires, but can make adjustments. Which wires are DSUB and need to be twisted separately.

Wires 1 & 6 and 4 & 8 are the twisted ones on the new SkyView network.

Please be aware that SkyView doesn't power the servos, you still do that from the bus in the airplane. So only the 4 data wires from the servo go to the screens.

With much cursing and scratched hands, I managed to unthread the wires, seperate them, make the twisted pairs and re-thread.   Dbud, you need 2x twisted pairs.  The power and ground are seperate from the network.  I'm assuming that the lower power components get their juice from the network cable.  So you need the earth, ground and instinctive cutout as well.  I guess you have to splice the DSAB into the network cable at some point.
