I just started the install of a dual Skyview system. The main harness wires are twisted together by function, I.e., GPS, SP 1, audio.
The electrical section specifies twisting the data pair wires. I assume that includes the serial ports. Or is it just a good idea to twist wires in this digital world in general?

We only twist them to keep them in bundles so they are easy to identify. Twisting serial wires makes no difference for interference. The only wires in the system that need to be twisted are the DSAB A/B lines that are in the 9 pin cables that go to the remote modules.
