Twitchy ALT Hold

I have an RV7A and the autopilot is very twitchy in ALT Hold. The stick constantly twitches although the altitude does stay right on for the most part. I’ve searched here and found recommended settings for RV10 but nothing for the 7. Any gouge to be had?
