Hi…I have a technical question.

I want to mount a EMS D10 to my existing analog Instruments.

Is it possible to use the probes for Oilpressure, Oiltemp, Fuel Level together at same time with the EMS?

Unfortunately not, for a couple of reasons.

First, your analog instruments require a certain sender for oil pressure and temperature. Our EMS requires our own senders (if you have a Rotax or Jabiru, we work with the factory installed oil temp/pressure sensors) . It is likely that these senders are not the same, and that the resistive outputs of these senders are different to begin with. So in other words, your old oil temp/pressure senders are not likely to be compatible with our EMS. Even if the sensors are the same (like in the Rotax/Jabiru case), you can't hook them up to two instruments at the same time - both instruments would end up reading wrong.

The fuel level senders, if resistive, would work with our EMS, but you generally don't want them hooked up to your old analog gauges at the same time: Like the oil temperature/pressure sensors, the resistive outputs of the fuel senders would be affected by being connected to two instruments at once, and though the EMS calibration that can handle this, your analog gauge likely won't. Also, if either your analog fuel gauge or EMS should fail, that would again change the resistance sensed by the surviving instrument, and this would cause it's displayed quantity to change.
