Dear Dynon,
I am currently installing a UL 350i. It is my intention to use Skyview D1000.
More UL engines are being sold as time goes bye.
Is any effort being made to investigate if fuel usage can be pick up from engine ECU instead of using flow sensors?

That is currently not something we are actively working on. We just do not get enough requests to justify the work instead of having people install one or two flow sensors. The sensors work just fine (probably even better actually), so it's not a situation of having no solution.

There are more Lycoming, continental, and Rotax engines in the world than UL engines. Why not have UL change their output to be the same as standard engines (frequency) instead of their unique output (duty cycle)? This change is probably easier for them than it is for us to read a new signal.

Also, as we've mentioned before, there are circuits that could convert the signal that could be made fairly easily. If there is a reasonable market for them I'd expect someone will start making them.
