Updating from 3.1 to 7.1

I finally got everything wired up and turned on. I'm trying to update my 10" SV to the latest 7.1. I boot up the EFIS, then insert the USB drive with the files, go to the system upgrade screen and nothing shows up on the screen to update. Am I missing something? I gave the plane an N-number. I tried to run the configuration set up, but it seems to hang for a long time in the network configuration. It certainly isn't seeing all of the components.

So first of all, you'll need to use "method 2" on your update to grab the files individually. The combined update won't work until you've done this one update to get you newer than 4.0.

If you go to "load files..." from the system software menu, you should be able to load the upgrade manually that way.
